Wang requested that all parties should improve mechanisms; strengthen prevention and control work organization and leadership; deepen reform; enhance health, family planning and coordinated collaboration within the traditional Chinese medicine system; improve policy; strengthen team ability building; perfect measures; give social organizations a role in HIV/AIDS prevention and control; strengthen supervision and inspection; implement responsibility and accountability systems; strengthen strategy, scientific research and international cooperation; and be fully prepared for the battle against HIV/AIDS.

Officials from health and family planning commissions of various provinces (districts and municipalities), the heath bureau of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, disease control and prevention centers, traditional Chinese medicine bureaus of various provinces (districts and municipalities), divisions of the NHFPC and the CDC attended the meeting.
