Thirdly, it should safeguard medical order in accordance with law, to better build harmony between doctor and patient.

Fourthly, it should upgrade the capacity of county-level hospitals, further optimize medical resource allocation and improve the diagnosis procedure and treatment capacity of community-level hospitals.

Fifthly, the sector was urged to intensify its anti-corruption efforts in order to eradicate corruption in the healthcare system.

Lastly, the sector should push forward the research and implementation on important policies, strengthening the administration of medical and health sector.

Representatives from hospitals and medical institutions in Tianjin, Jilin, Zhejiang, Hubei, Shanghai, Fujian and Shandong held discussions on improving the health service, grading diagnosis and treatment, critical disease treatment, medical expense control and emergency disease aid.

Representatives from NHFPC’s relevant departments, health and family planning commissions of provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), the health bureau of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, all attended the conference.
