Qingdao encouraging new approach to services for the aged
The city of Qingdao, Shandong province recently came up with a regulation that encourages medical institutes to cooperate with nursing homes to providing better services for the elderly.
The regulation calls for local governments to provide home-based services for elderly people who are unable to work and have no income or suffer from a serious disability.
