Health and family planning official takes a look at Hubei health reforms
Cui Li, a vice-minister of China’s National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC) paid a visit to Hubei province’s public hospitals and rural health clinics, March 26-27, to see how their medical care system and informatization at the community level are working, and took time to speak with medical staff and patients and arrange a symposium on Hubei’s healthcare reforms.

Cui praised the province for its healthcare achievements and emphasized the need for its health department to continue hospital reforms and medical services and pricing and improvements. She went on to say that personnel training and informatization should be improved to ensure quality medical services.
Taking part in the tour were heads of NHFPC’s General Office, Healthcare Reform Dept and Communications Dept.
