Li Bin meets with president of the University of Oxford
Li Bin, minister of the National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC), met with Louise Richardson, president of the University of Oxford, in Beijing on Aug 30. They exchanged ideas on Sino-British health information exchange and medical research cooperation.

Li spoke highly of the Sino-British partnership in the health sector. Honored with a long history, the University of Oxford has enormous influence around the world.
Li said that China has always valued cooperation with Oxford in medical research, personnel training and data arising from monitoring of migrant populations. She expected that the two countries will deepen cooperation to push forward their respective medical and health industries.
Li described the national conference on health and wellness and noted that with the globalization of public health, China and Britain should join hands to safeguard the global public health security.
The University of Oxford treasures the cooperation with China, and hopes to have further cooperation in medical research and education, Louise Richardson said.
Also taking part in the meeting were Cui Li, vice-minister of the NHFPC, and other officials.
