Top health authorities promote national medical alliance
The National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC) and the Office of State Council Healthcare Reform Leading Group jointly held a promotion meeting in Shenzhen, Guangdong province on Sept 1 for the construction of national medical alliance.
The meeting summarized the construction’s progress and called for health departments at all levels to learn Shenzhen’s effective measures and experiences for furthering the medical alliance.
Li Bin, minister of the NHFPC attended the meeting and delivered a speech, noting that the construction of medical alliance is meaningful to forming tiered system of medical care service, improving medical and health service system, changing service model and enhancing community-level service capacity.
Li urged health departments at all levels to work together to push forward the construction of national medical alliance.
Representatives from Shenzhen of Guangdong province, Zhenjiang in Jiangsu province, Shaanxi province’s Yan'an, Anhui province’s Tianchang and other cities delivered speeches at the meeting.
Officials from national departments including the NHFPC, the Office of State Council Healthcare Reform Leading Group and National Development and Reform Commission attended the meeting.
