National health tour improves health care services for migrant people

A national tour focusing on migrant workers' health concluded in Chengdu of Southwestern China's Sichuan province, on Dec 7, after visiting 19 provinces and cities nationwide.
Hosted by National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC), the campaign aims to improve the health care services for migrant workers in urban areas.
Wang Pei'an, deputy head of the NHFPC attended the event in Wenjiang and said, "The campaign expects to draw more attention to the migrant people and improve their physical quality and sense of belonging in the city."
The city of Chengdu has attached importance to citizens' physical health for a long time. It has been honored as the "national hygienic city" for 23 consecutive years.
"Chengdu will put efforts towards solving the unbalanced health care services in different areas and promote the development of health careers in the city," said Tian Rong, head of publicity department of Chengdu.
