China to regulate online drug selling
The China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) has issued a draft regulation on supervision of the online drug business for public consultation.
The draft said that people who intend to run online drug businesses should report related information to the provincial food and drug departments to receive a certificate.
"Online drug operators should also guarantee qualified delivery of drugs bought online, set up a complaint system to protect consumer rights and keep record of adverse drug reactions," it said.
The CFDA said it would establish a nationwide monitoring system of online drug operation and deal with illegal conduct.
