The 2018 national conference on medical management was held in Beijing on Jan 5, reviewing last year’s medical management work and mapping out this year’s key tasks.

In the past year, the medical systems have carried out the “Healthy China” strategy and medical reform in order to push forward the supply-side structural reform, improve the distribution of medical resource and upgrade the quality of medical service. These efforts have made significant achievements allowing people to enjoy the benefits of medical reform.

According to the conference, in the year of 2018, health departments at all levels should push forward the construction of medical treatment alliance and speed up the establishment of modern hospitals’ management system. Health departments should encourage the development of private hospitals, make efforts to build quality and effective medical service system and improve medical treatment quality.
