NHFPC deputy chief visits HK for medical exchanges
Cui Li, vice-minister of the National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC), held talks with officials from Hong Kong on the medical and health system during a visit to the special administrative region from Jan 29 to Feb 2.
The visit aimed to increase exchanges and explore medical cooperation between the mainland and Hong Kong.
During her trip, Cui visited Hong Kong government departments, including agencies in charge of food and health safety, health protection, and hospital administration.
Cui met with officials of these departments to learn about government operations and development plans in the medical and health sector.
Cui's visit is part of the "VIP Visit to Hong Kong Program" arranged by Hong Kong. Each year, a senior official from a central government department is invited to visit the region to learn about government operations.
