Vice-head of NHC meets with Dutch delegation

Wang Hesheng, deputy minister of the National Health Commission (NHC), met with a Dutch delegation led by Bruno Bruins, minister for medical care of the Netherlands on April 9 in Beijing.
Wang briefly introduced the achievements of China's health sector in addition to medical and health care reform, especially measures in dealing with the aging society and promoting innovative health service.
China and the Netherlands have close cooperation in health system, diseases prevention and control, rehabilitation medicine and medical scientific research, Wang said.
He also put forward proposals for health cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.
Bruins highly praised the health cooperation between the two countries and spoke highly of China's medical and health development.
He also exchanged views and ideas with Wang in regards to further improving medical quality and efficiency.
