The National Health Commission holds a conference for promoting the Healthy China strategy by new media platforms in Beijing on April 18.
At present, the NHC has a matrix of new media platforms, including the Chinese and English editions of the official website, Healthy China Weibo account, WeChat account, Healthy China App and a series of new media accounts for government affairs.
“We should fully understand people’s new demands for health; promote health development with help of the internet. The key task of Healthy China new media platform is to serve as the database of health information service and be a bridge that connects the health departments and citizens. We should fully implement the platforms’ construction, use and management,” Wang said.
