National leading group for health campaign reshuffled
The State Council reshuffled members of the National Patriotic Health Campaign Committee, according to a circular released on Oct 24.
Vice-Premier Sun Chunlan was appointed new director of the committee, with deputy directors Ma Xiaowei, director of the National Health Commission; Li Ganjie, minister of Ecology and Environment; Wang Menghui, minister of Housing and Urban-Rural Development; Han Changfu, minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; Ding Xiangyang, vice-secretary of the State Council; Liang Yanshun, deputy head of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China; Lian Weiliang, vice-minister of the National Development and Reform Commission, and Li Qingjie, deputy director of the logistics support department of the Central Military Commission. Other members are from departments and commissions of the State Council.
The group’s office will be seated at the National Health Commission, which will undertake its routine work.
