NHC minister attends senior health officials meeting in Macao SAR

Alexis Tam, secretary for Social Affairs and Culture of the Macao SAR, and Sophia Chan Siu-chee, secretary for Food and Health of the Hong Kong SAR and about another 60 health representatives were present at the meeting.
The three health officials renewed an agreement on health exchanges and cooperation and emergency mechanisms for public health events.
Ma outlined the main tasks for building a Healthy China in the new era and affirmed the contributions that the Macao SAR and Hong Kong SAR have made. He recommended that the two SARs take steps to help build a Health Silk Road and a Healthy China.
Alexis Tam said Macao pays a lot of attention to the development and integration of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Chan Siu-chee introduced Hong Kong’s six health policies in the region’s government report and said the Hong Kong SAR is willing to improve health services in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
