NHC stresses health cooperation in Greater Bay Area

Yu Xuejun, vice-minister of National Health Commission (NHC), was invited to the second Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Health Cooperation Conference held on Feb 25 in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, and made a speech.
Yu pointed out that the conference has played a vital role in regional health cooperation. He added that promoting exchanges and cooperation in health resources and accelerating the development of the health industry is one of the major issues in Greater Bay Area construction.
Yu said that the NHC has attached great importance to the construction of the Greater Bay Area and hopes that the area will offer more experience for the country's inland areas through regional health cooperation.
A cooperation agreement in health, along with more than 60 cooperative projects, was signed by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao during the event.
