NHC vice-minister meets with Czech Republic ambassador to China

Wang Hesheng, vice-minister of China’s National Health Commission (NHC), met with a delegation led by Czech Republic Ambassador to China Vladmir Tomsik on Sept 12. The two sides exchanges views on health cooperation.

Wang extend congratulations to Vladmir Tomsik on his assumption of the post and briefed him on China’s medical and health system reform and Healthy China Action Plan.

Wang spoke highly of China-Czech relations, and noted that health cooperation plays a significant role in the bilateral relationship. He said he hopes the two countries can continue learning from each other and deepen cultural exchanges under the frameworks of China–Central and Eastern Europe cooperation and the Belt and Road Initiative.

Tomsik gave high praise to the achievements in China-Czech health cooperation in aspects such as air rescue and hospital administration and said he hopes to extend bilateral health cooperation partnership on the existing basis and strengthen personnel exchanges for further benefits.
