Symptoms of coronavirus pneumonia and medical guide
The pneumonia caused by novel coronavirus is a newly-found disease that the public should take every measure to prevent. Following are the symptoms of coronavirus pneumonia and a medical guide to help suspected foreign patients get medical care in China.
I. Symptoms include fever, cough, pharyngalgia, chest distress, dyspnea, mildly poor appetite, feebleness, mild lethargy, nausea, diarrhea, headache, palpitation, conjunctivitis, and mildly sore limb or back muscles.
II. For some patients, the symptoms begin mildly, even without a fever.
III. If you have any of the symptoms, please wear a surgical mask and seek medical care right away at the fever clinic of the nearest hospital designated by the municipal health commission for fever diagnosis and treatment. Please avoid taking the metro, buses or other public transportation and don’t visit crowded areas.
IV. Tell the doctor your travel and residence history in epidemic areas, and whom you met after you got the disease. Cooperate with your doctor on the relevant queries.
V. Please also report to your employer, school and/or community authorities as soon as possible.
