Chinese, Pakistani experts discuss COVID-19 control
Chinese experts shared their experiences in combating COVID-19 with their Pakistani counterparts during a conference via video link on July 8.
The conference was sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China. Representatives of China's National Health Commission, the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention and Peking University People's Hospital attended the conference.
At the conference, Chinese experts and representatives from the Pakistani institute of health exchanged information on COVID-19 prevention and control, virus detection, protection measures, control of nosocomial infections, clinical diagnosis, medication and treatment plans.
The two sides agreed to continue to strengthen technological exchanges and experience sharing, work together to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, jointly maintain regional and global health security, and support the construction of a global public health community.
