Balanced diet highlighted for China's dental care day
BEIJING — China's health authority has required sound efforts in promoting the awareness of dental health among the public as part of the campaign for the country's dental care day, which falls on Sept 20.
According to a circular issued by the disease prevention and control bureau under the National Health Commission, the theme for this year's campaign is "dental health, overall health," with a focus on a balanced diet for healthy teeth.
The circular asked relevant authorities and associations to promote awareness among the public and encourage the public to foster a healthy lifestyle.
It also required work to better train the personnel for dental health promotion.
