Beijing reports no new COVID-19 cases
BEIJING -- No new locally transmitted confirmed, asymptomatic, or suspected cases of COVID-19 were reported in Beijing on Monday, the municipal health commission said on Oct 13.
The capital also reported no new imported cases on Monday, according to the commission.
One new imported case of COVID-19 was registered in Beijing on Sunday. A 23-year-old man who departed from Pakistan on Oct 9 tested positive for COVID-19 upon arrival at the Beijing Capital International Airport.
The man was then transferred to a designated hospital and confirmed to be a COVID-19 case there on Sunday.
