Anhui reports COVID-19 case related to Shanghai
One confirmed COVID-19 case was detected in Fuyang, Anhui province on Nov 10, according to the city's health authorities.
The patient, surnamed Lan, 50, works as a stevedore at Putong Airport and is a close contact of the confirmed case reported in Shanghai on Monday.
The man took a coach to Yingshang county in Fuyang and then a minibus home on Nov 5 and was confirmed on Nov 10 after he was sent for treatment in isolation at a hospital in Fuyang.
By 11 am on Tuesday, nucleic acid tests for 16 of the 34 close contacts related to the case were negative, while the remaining are waiting for their tests and results.
