Recovered COVID 19 patient in Chongqing tests positive again
A recovered COVID-19 patient has tested positive again at the airport as he prepared to board a plane, the local COVID-19 prevention and control team in Jiangjin district, Chongqing, has reported.
The man, surnamed Wen, returned to the city from Nepal in September and was found to have the virus. After treatment and medical observation, he was discharged from the hospital.
Following his second positive test, Wen was immediately taken to hospital, and Jiangjin district government has carried out nucleic acid tests on his family members, close contacts, residents in his community, teachers and students at some related schools.
So far, all these samples have tested negative.
