NHC vice-minister meets with Mongolian ambassador to China
Li Bin, vice-minister of China's National Health Commission (NHC), met with T.Badral, the newly-appointed Mongolian ambassador to China, on Dec 14, and exchanged views with him on the promotion of health cooperation and exchanges between the two countries.
Li said that China and Mongolia are good neighbors geographically linked by mountains and rivers, and that China-Mongolia health cooperation is constantly improving. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, China and Mongolia have stood firmly side-by-side in the fight against the pandemic.
He said that the two countries can promote cooperation in many areas including infectious disease prevention and control, traditional medicine, and personnel training under the framework of the China-Mongolia health cooperation implementation plan signed in 2017, and further strengthen related inter-agency exchanges.
T.Badral echoed Li's suggestion. He suggested that China and Mongolia further deepen health cooperation and collaboration in a bid to benefit both countries’ people.
