On Jan 10, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 103 new cases of confirmed infections (18 imported cases, 7 in Guangdong province, 4 in Liaoning province, 2 in Tianjin municipality, 2 in Shanghai municipality, 1 in Fujian province, 1 in Yunnan province and 1 in Shaanxi province; 85 indigenous cases, 82 in Hebei province, 2 in Liaoning and 1 in Beijing municipality), no new cases of suspected infections, and no deaths. 18 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 405 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. Serious cases increased by 4.

As of 24:00 on Jan 10, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 4,430 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 4,132 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 298 confirmed cases (including 5 cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Jan 10, the National Health Commission had received reports of 87,536 confirmed cases and 4,634 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 82,229 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 673 confirmed cases (including 20 cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases. 925,042 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 26,652 were still under medical observation.

On Jan 10, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 76 new asymptomatic cases (including 15 imported cases). 9 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (including 8 imported cases) and 31 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 3 imported cases). As of 24:00 on Jan 10, 506 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 260 imported cases). 

As of 24:00 on Jan 10, 10,116 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 9,242 in Hong Kong (158 had died and 8,423 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 46 in Macao (all had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 828 in Taiwan (7 had died and 720 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
