On Jan 14, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 144 new cases of confirmed infections (9 imported cases, 3 in Guangdong province, 2 in Shanghai municipality, 1 in Jiangsu province, 1 in Zhejiang province, 1 in Sichuan province and 1 in Shaanxi province; 135 indigenous cases, 90 in Hebei province, 43 in Heilongjiang province, 1 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and 1 in Shaanxi), 1 new case of suspected infections (an imported case in Shanghai), and no deaths. 28 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 1,488 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. Serious cases increased by 2.

As of 24:00 on Jan 14, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 4,474 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 4,201 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 273 confirmed cases (including 3 cases in serious condition) and 1 suspected case.

As of 24:00 on Jan 14, the National Health Commission had received reports of 87,988 confirmed cases and 4,635 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 82,352 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 1,001 confirmed cases (including 26 cases in serious condition) and 1 suspected case. 933,875 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 31,912 were still under medical observation.

On Jan 14, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 66 new asymptomatic cases (including 11 imported cases). 27 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (including 17 imported cases) and 20 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 1 imported case). As of 24:00 on Jan 14, 618 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 245 imported cases). 

As of 24:00 on Jan 14, 10,302 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 9,414 in Hong Kong (161 had died and 8,631 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 46 in Macao (all had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 842 in Taiwan (7 had died and 731 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
