China, EU hold health dialogue
The 2021 China-EU health dialogue was held by China's National Health Commission (NHC) and the health and food safety department of the European Commission via video link on Feb 3.
Participants of the conference included officials from the NHC, China's National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Chinese Mission to the EU, the health and food safety department of the European Commission and the EU's Mission to China, as well as relevant experts.
The representatives from both sides had in-depth exchanges on topics including COVID-19 prevention and control and application of traditional medicine, and expressed their willingness to enhance experience sharing and technological exchanges in the fight against the pandemic in a bid to protect the health of people from both sides and safeguard global health security.
