China, Israel vow closer ties in COVID-19 fight
A special meeting of the China-Israel Health Joint Commission on COVID-19 prevention, control and vaccination was held via video link on April 26.
Officials and experts from China's National Health Commission, the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Israeli Ministry of Health and the Israeli Embassy in China participated in the meeting.
At the meeting, representatives from China and Israel had in-depth discussions on policies on pandemic prevention and control and vaccination. The two sides reiterated their willingness to continue to strengthen experience sharing and technological exchanges in the fight against COVID-19 in a bid to jointly safeguard the health of their people and the global health security.
