Xuzhou reports asymptomatic COVID-19 case
Xuzhou of East China's Jiangsu province reported an asymptomatic COVID-19 case on Thursday night, according to local authorities.
The case had eaten at a restaurant in Suzhou on Saturday, and the confirmed cases from Shanghai had also visited on the same day. The Shanghai government reported the three cases on Thursday afternoon.
The case has been sent to a designated hospital for treatment.
As of 8 pm Thursday, Xuzhou had traced 76 close contacts and quarantined 849 people. The city's subway has also been suspended since Thursday night to contain the virus.
