On Nov 9, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 1,185 new cases of confirmed infections (52 imported cases, 16 in Fujian province, 14 in Guangdong province, 4 in Beijing municipality, 3 in Shanghai municipality, 3 in Jiangxi province, 2 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 2 in Liaoning province, 2 in Jiangsu province, 2 in Sichuan province, 2 in Yunnan province, 1 in Zhejiang province and 1 in Shaanxi province, including 1 confirmed case converting from an asymptomatic case in Guangdong province; 1,133 indigenous cases, 500 in Guangdong province, 178 in Henan province, 123 in Chongqing municipality, 107 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 48 in Sichuan province, 35 in Shanxi province, 34 in Beijing municipality, 32 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 14 in Yunnan province, 13 in Hunan province, 12 in Shaanxi province, 9 in Heilongjiang province, 7 in Gansu province, 6 in Shandong province, 4 in Liaoning province, 3 in Zhejiang province, 2 in Tianjin municipality, 2 in Fujian province, 1 in Jiangsu province, 1 in Guizhou province, 1 in Tibet autonomous region and 1 in Qinghai province, including 330 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 300 in Guangdong province, 13 in Sichuan province, 3 in Chongqing municipality, 3 in Gansu province, 2 in Zhejiang province, 2 in Henan province, 2 in Hunan province, 1 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 1 in Fujian province, 1 in Yunnan province, 1 in Tibet autonomous region and 1 in Shaanxi province), no deaths, and no new cases of suspected infections. 

On Nov 9, 343 patients were released from hospital after being cured (44 imported cases; 299 indigenous cases, 108 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 59 in Guangdong province, 22 in Fujian province, 17 in Shaanxi province, 15 in Tibet autonomous region, 12 in Jiangsu province, 12 in Chongqing municipality, 9 in Beijing municipality, 8 in Shanxi province, 8 in Heilongjiang province, 7 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 4 in Qinghai province, 4 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, 3 in Yunnan province, 2 in Liaoning province, 2 in Zhejiang province, 2 in Hunan province, 2 in Guizhou province, 1 in Hebei province, 1 in Henan province and 1 in Sichuan province). 64,127 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases increased by 4.

As of 24:00 on Nov 9, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 26,256 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 25,736 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 520 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Nov 9, the National Health Commission had received reports of 267,544 confirmed cases and 5,226 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 253,163 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 9,155 confirmed cases (including 31 cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases. 8,598,731 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 744,011 were still under medical observation.

On Nov 9, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 7,820 new asymptomatic cases (129 imported cases; 7,691 indigenous cases, 2,507 in Guangdong province, 1,065 in Henan province, 1,019 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 657 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 633 in Chongqing municipality, 325 in Heilongjiang province, 276 in Qinghai province, 237 in Gansu province, 152 in Shanxi province, 113 in Hubei province, 94 in Hunan province, 91 in Hebei province, 91 in Yunnan province, 74 in Sichuan province, 61 in Beijing municipality, 53 in Shandong province, 43 in Anhui province, 43 in Fujian province, 37 in Tianjin municipality, 37 in Shaanxi province, 16 in Liaoning province, 12 in Jiangxi province, 11 in Tibet autonomous region, 9 in Jiangsu province, 9 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, 7 in Guizhou province, 6 in Jilin province, 6 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 4 in Shanghai municipality and 3 in Zhejiang province). 

On Nov 9, 1,686 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (124 imported cases; 1,562 indigenous cases, 488 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 383 in Tibet autonomous region, 134 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 127 in Guangdong province, 50 in Shandong province, 45 in Fujian province, 43 in Heilongjiang province, 43 in Yunnan province, 40 in Shaanxi province, 36 in Sichuan province, 26 in Hebei province, 26 in Qinghai province, 25 in Tianjin municipality, 20 in Hubei province, 19 in Shanxi province, 14 in Jiangsu province, 9 in Shanghai municipality, 8 in Liaoning province, 8 in Chongqing municipality, 5 in Zhejiang province, 3 in Anhui province, 3 in Henan province, 2 in Jiangxi province, 2 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 1 in Hunan province, 1 in Guizhou province and 1 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region). 331 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 1 imported case). As of 24:00 on Nov 9, 52,411 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 1,119 imported cases). 

As of 24:00 on Nov 9, 8,395,118 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 440,438 in Hong Kong (10,492 had died and 93,420 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 795 in Macao (6 had died and 789 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 7,953,885 in Taiwan (13,313 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
