NHC holds video conference with WHO on respiraty infectious diseases
On Nov 23, China's National Health Commission (NHC) held a video conference with the World Health Organization (WHO) on technical exchanges in respiratory infectious diseases.
The attending Chinese experts introduced the recent epidemic situation of respiratory infectious diseases in China and the latest progress in pathogen monitoring, clinical diagnosis and treatment, as well as in targeted health publicity and education.
The two sides engaged in in-depth technical exchanges on the epidemiology, etiology and clinical manifestations of respiratory infectious diseases, and expressed willingness to continue maintaining communication in the field.
Officials of the NHC and the National Administration of Disease Prevention and Control, as well as experts of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Center for Children's Health participated in the conference.
