Vice-Minister Ma Xiaowei visits Poland and Romania
Ma Xiaowei, vice-minister of the National Health and Family Planning Commission, visited Poland and Romania at the invitation of health ministries of the two countries from June 21-29. He also attended a ministerial conference on antibiotic resistance held in The Hague, the Netherlands.

In Poland, Ma Xiaowei met with Sławomir Neumann, secretary of state in the health ministry of Poland. Both sides praised the cooperation of the two countries in the health sector and agreed to enhance exchange in the health system and management of hospitals. The delegation, led by Ma Xiaowei, also visited the Military Medical Institute and the Medical University of Warsaw, holding talks about grassroots healthcare service and medical education.
