Skill competition for national maternal and child health to open
The department of maternal and child health at the National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC) held a conference on July 3 about organizing a skill competition for national maternal and child health in Beijing. The relevant staff introduced the preparation for the event and the principle of setting medical examination questions.

Qing Geng, deputy director-general of the department of maternal and child health, asked the local departments to pay attention to the competition from its preparation to organization. Aimed to upgrade medical staff skills for maternal and child health, the competition should be a fair test and a brand in the healthcare sector.
Eighty people in charge of the Health and Family Planning Commission (health bureau, population and family planning committee) in provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government; the department of maternal and child health at the NHFPC; the Labor Union of Education, Science, Culture, Hygiene and Sport; and the National Medical Examination Center attended the conference.
