Vice-minister Cui Li inspects hospitals in Liaoning
Cui Li, vice-minister of the National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC) inspected medical facilities in Liaoning Province from July 10 to 12. During her inspection, Cui talked with patients and hospital staffs in Shenyang’s Fourth Hospital of People, Anshan Women and Children’s Hospital, Haicheng Central Hospital, Dalian Central Hospital, and others. Cui also listened to a report from Liaoning’s provincial health and family planning department.

Cui praised Liaoning province’s achievements in the health and family planning sector, as its public hospitals have implemented efficient regulation and improved healthcare services. She stressed that the purpose of deepening healthcare reform is to make patients satisfied, and ultimately that the reform should support common people in improving its family planning policies. Local health and family planning departments should motivate its staff, and local government should take responsibility for the construction of better healthcare service systems and play a supporting role in its digitization. By combining population, family, nature and culture, work in this area should strengthen the population’s cultural base, Cui said.
Staff from the general office and the department of communications at NHFPC and Liaoning’s provincial health and family planning commission accompanied Cui’s inspection.
