Health and family planning departments join hands in Kunshan blast rescue
A factory blast, which occurred in Kunshan, Jiangsu province, on Aug 2, has killed 75 people and injured 185 others. The health and family planning departments of Jiangsu province, Suzhou and Kunshan are paying attention to this tragedy to treat injured people without delay. An emergency aid system has been set up to dispatch medical staff to the accident, and hospitals are ready to receive and treat injured people.

The leaders of the National Health and Family Planning Commission urge that the health and family department of Jiangsu province should do its best to rescue and treat injured people, minimizing the death toll and disability rate. Relevant people in charge of this case have followed the working team of the State Council to Kunshan to conduct the rescue work. A national experts group including professionals in burn surgery, ICU and psychology have arrived in Kunshan to assist with rescue work.
