On August 25, the People's Government of Henan held a meeting to promote the all-round reform of county-level public hospitals.

Sun Zhigang, vice-minister of the National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC) and director-general of the State Council Healthcare Reform Office, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

In the meeting hosted by Wang Yanling, vice-governor of Henan, Li Ke, executive vice-governor, called up all-out efforts and mapped out the reform of county-level public hospitals in Henan, an important move for further healthcare reform.

The national healthcare reform is painfully upgrading and facing tough battles for further improvement, says Sun Zhigang. Henan provincial government and the CPC committee have correctly assessed the situations and have the courage to promote all-round reforms of county-level public hospitals in the province, which clearly shows they are determined to reform for the people.
