Li Bin calls for support to health services in southern Jiangxi province
There are now eight A-tier hospitals in the city of Ganzhou. Yudu and Huichang county hospitals have improved their ability to use medical technologies and have gained better medical diagnosis and treatment skills.
With support from key hospitals in Beijing, health care service in Ganzhou has seen remarkable improvements. A total of 144 township health clinics, with enhanced services, have won the recognition of local residents. A total of 2,275 village clinics can now provide integrated health services to villagers.
Minister Li says that the NHFPC will further help poor areas to solve economic and livelihood issues. She encourages Ganzhou and other cities in southern Jiangxi province to improve health care services for local people depending on their own hard work and help from the central government.
Also joining the inspection were Qiang Wei, secretary of the CPC Jiangxi Committee, and Lu Xinshe, governor of Jiangxi province.
