Sierra Leone presents compliments to China for fighting against Ebola
The Permanent Mission of Sierra Leone to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva recently presented a diplomatic note to deliver its compliments to the Permanent Mission of the People’s Republic of China, to the United Nations Office in Geneva and other International Organizations in Switzerland. In this note, it expressed its heartfelt appreciation for China’ s support and technical assistance provided to Sierra Leone during the current Ebola crisis.
The government of Sierra Leone is grateful for this important and generous contribution which the Government of China has offered to the people of Sierra Leone to further enable their efforts to combat the outbreak of the Ebola disease which has killed thousands of people in Sierra Leone and its neighboring countries of Liberia and Guinea.
Sierra Leone expressed its heartfelt thanks to the government of China for the assistance provided in its time of need and looks forward to further cooperation and collaboration with the government of China, as it strives to eliminate the spread of this terrible disease.
