Wang Guoqiang joins Guangdong National Patriotic Health Campaign
A vice-minister of China’s National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC), Wang Guoqiang, took part in a National Patriotic Health Campaign, in Guangdong province, Feb 26-27, where he got a close look at the local infectious diseases prevention and control efforts and got his hands dirty helping locals sweep the street with locals.

Wang also conducted a conference on Guangdong’s infectious disease control work for spring and summer, and listened to reports from the provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the health and family planning commission and related departments.

He also asked Guangdong’s health and family planning commission to work hard on the prevention and control of influenza, bird flu, measles, dengue, foot and mouth disease, ebola and poliomyelitis requested urban and rural areas to improve their health controls so their people can live healthy lives.
Taking part in the visit were personnel from NHFPC’s Disease Prevention and Control Bureau.
