National departments jointly prevent MERS
The National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC) will join hands with national government bodies to prevent and control the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS).
A meeting on MERS prevention and control hosted by Li Bin, minister of the NHFPC was held on June 9, which asked national departments to strengthen measures on preventing the disease from reaching China; further cooperate in tracking the epidemic; push research as well as strengthen public knowledge about the disease and release information.
