Zhongguancun Life Science Park is a vital part of Zhongguancun National Innovation Development Zone and is a specialty park focusing on life science, biotechnology and biomedicine research. In October, 2006, it was entitled as National Biological Industrial Base by the National Development and Reform Commission.
