Deputy head of NHFPC meets with Czech counterpart in Beijing

The deputy head of China’s national health watchdog met with his Czech counterpart on Nov 13 in Beijing.
Wang Guoqiang, vice-minister of the National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC), welcomed the visiting delegation led by Roman Prymula, deputy minister of health of the Czech Republic, speaking highly of the achievements made in the health sector by both countries.
He said both sides are enjoying broader achievements in health cooperation and people-to-people exchanges and intergovernmental communication are also advancing.
China and the Czech Republic have conducted pragmatic cooperation in various fields, including clinical medicine, public health and traditional medicine, according to Wang.
Many states in the Czech Republic have established friendly relations with China’s provinces and cities as well as medical institutes.
Wang added that China is willing to work closer with the Czech Republic in broader fields and learn from each other to benefit the people.
Prymula echoed Wang, speaking highly of the achievements of Czech-China health cooperation.
He said that the Czech Republic is willing to deepen cooperation with China in relevant areas, including the planned immunity, emergency medicine, traditional medicine and personnel training.
