“The Chinese government has been paying great attention to maternal and child health, disease prevention and control and health security, and is willing to cooperate with France in these sectors to further improve people’s health,”Li said.
Buzyn praised the achievements of Sino-French health cooperation and the progress of China’s medical and health sector. He hoped that both sides will further push forward health cooperation to a higher level.
Li and Buzyn signed an MOU on Sino-French cooperation in the health sector on Jan 9.
During his stay in China, Buzyn visited Beijing Children’s Hospital, the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Cancer Center.
