NHFPC deputy chief visits Shanxi for health promotion and poverty alleviation

A team of the national health watchdog made a field tour in North China's Shanxi province on Jan 18 to inspect how poverty brought about by sickness is alleviated.
The team, led by Wang Pei’an, vice-minister of the National Health and Family Planning Commission, visited nine villages in Yonghe county.
Team members exchanged ideas with village leaders and made plans about poverty alleviation for 2018.
Wang spoke highly of the achievements made by the county in poverty alleviation through promoting health.
He encouraged local leaders to make more pragmatic efforts to win the battle against poverty.
