NHFPC head visits Chinese medical team in Liberia
The head of China’s top health authority visited the Chinese medical team in Liberia on Jan 23.
Li Bin, minister of the National Health and Family Planning Commission, called for medical staff to be dedicated to their work.
She said medical assistance is part of the efforts to promote major power diplomacy with Chinese characteristics and helps to build a community of shared future for humankind.
Li encouraged the medical staff to display their superb medical skills and good medical ethics and help advance the friendship between China and Liberia.
The nine-member medical team is the 11th batch dispatched by China to the country. Its members are from Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province.
