National neurological diseases quality management center opens in Beijing

China set up its first national center for healthcare quality management in neurological diseases on June 30 in Beijing.
The center - based in the Beijing Tian Tan Hospital, Capital Medical University - is responsible for quality monitoring and improving of neurological diseases.
Wang Yongjun, executive vice-president of the Beijing Tian Tan Hospital and director of the center, spoke about the comprehensive information of neurological disease treatment in the country at a news conference.
He said a national big data quality control platform of neurological diseases has been set up after more than ten years’ hard work.
Severe cases are at the top of the priority this year, according to Wang.
Wang and his team have achieved a series of accomplishments in improving the service quality of dealing with neurological diseases.
The research article published in the Journal of the American Medical Association
Their latest achievements were published in the world-class Journal of the American Medical Association.
He said new methods and techniques are being introduced to lower the relapse rate and harmful effects in patients with acute cerebral infarction, opening up a new path in the prevention and treatment of cerebrovascular diseases.
