Cui Li, vice-minister of the NHC, meets with the ambassador of Israel to China.

Cui Li, vice minister of the National Health Commission (NHC) met with Zvi Heifetz, the ambassador of Israel to China, in Beijing on July 31.

Cui noted that China and Israel have cooperated in telemedicine, health emergencies, medical research, hospital collaboration and medical big data in recent years and have signed a couple of special cooperative agreements and carried out a series of collaborative and fruitful projects. She hoped the two countries will deepen their cooperation, contributing to their respective peoples.

 Zvi Heifetz gave a high appraisal of the achievements of the cooperation. He urged that it should continue exchanges in health emergencies, digital medical treatment and staff training so that the level of medical cooperation is fully upgraded.

Officials from relevant NHC departments accompanied Cui to the meeting.
