During the intubation, splashed droplets from a patient's trachea pose a high risk of infection.

Han Yuquan is an anesthesiologist at the Third People's Hospital of Yichang in Hubei province.

Before the Lunar New Year, he was dispatched to work at isolation wards, and hasn't been home since.

On the morning of Feb 24, he learned about his father's death at a quarantine hotel.

A photo was taken after Han completed intubation for a patient. On his protective mask and glasses is a thick layer of vapor. It is under such conditions he has saved many lives.

Han believed his father would have understood and felt proud if he saw how many lives had been saved by his own son.
