East China hospital offers large-scale nucleic acid tests
HANGZHOU-- A hospital in east China's Zhejiang Province announced it will offer large-scale nucleic acid and serum antibody tests to people aged above 14 starting on April 24.
In order to help more employees and students return to work and study, the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine will conduct necessary tests on key groups and will also offer tests to interested parties.
"The instant and accurate large-scale testing will be helpful for the epidemic prevention and control, the population mobility and the comprehensive work and production resumption," said Liang Tingbo, Party chief of the hospital.
Since Jan. 19, the hospital has provided testing services for more than 8,000 people and tested about 19,000 nucleic acid samples.
The hospital can now conduct testing on about 2,000 nucleic acid samples and about 4,000 serum antibody samples each day.
