The last four imported COVID-19 patients who entered the Chinese mainland from Russia via the highway port of entry in Suifenhe, Northeast China's Heilongjiang province, were cured and discharged from Hongqi Hospital Affiliated with Mudanjiang Medical University on May 12, according to Heilongjiang Daily.

They have been transferred to Mudanjiang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and will be placed under a 14-day medical observation.

As of Tuesday, Heilongjiang had reported 386 imported confirmed COVID-19 cases, and 380 were diagnosed in Suifenhe.

The city reported its first imported case on March 26.

All patients, including 39 in serious condition, were sent to Hongqi Hospital in Mudanjiang, a city about 150 kilometers from Suifenhe.

All of them have been cured, accounting for one-quarter of imported patients who were cured nationwide.

Nearby cities in the province, including Harbin, Jiamusi, Qiqihar and Hegang, sent five medical aid teams with 369 medical workers to support the hospital.

Mobile laboratories sent by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention to Suifenhe and Mudanjiang greatly improved the two cities' daily testing capacity and played a key role in virus prevention and control.

Suifenhe also reported 29 asymptomatic cases and these people have completed medical quarantine and observation.
