Beijing collects nucleic acid samples of over 29,000 people

Beijing completed nucleic acid testing sampling collection of 29,386 people who visited Xinfadi market in the past 14 days by 2 pm Sunday, according to Gao Xiaojun, spokesman for the Beijing Health Commission on June 15.

Xinfadi market in the capital became a hotspot after major new COVID-19 cases were discovered there. Out of all the samples, 12,973 came negative and the rest are awaiting results, he said at the conference.
